Functionality Bleed
Functionality Bleed exists when one resource is performing the roles and/or responsibilities of another who is assigned this activity. We measure functionality bleed in number of hours doing work outside of the resources assigned scope of work. Functionality Bleed can burn out employees, create resentment between employees and management, and can create general disarray in an organization.
Work Volume
Work Volume is an extremely underrated metric or series of metrics that a lot of organizations do not report on or manage to. Work Volume is measured in support and service teams by tasks added to work tickets. These tasks are aligned with a service catalog and assigned an average time on task. These tasks are then reported on in weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly views to ensure teams are properly staffed, and individuals are contributing appropriately.
Small Business Mobile Dispatch
This case study is in progress and will be published no later than the end of August. In the case study we’ll be covering how to utilize toolsets included in your Office365 platform to dispatch mobile users to provide business services. Track expenses, record milage, coordinate jobs, etc.
Remote Enabled Process Optimization
This case study is also in progress and should be published no later than the beginning of September. In this case study we’ll be covering enabling an on-prem process for remote users. Utilizing tools like SharePoint, integrations with Intuit Quickbooks Online, and perhaps Power Automate.
